SUBJECT: Business students plan conference with global appeal

Students and the business community will come together on Friday, March 27, to learn from local, national and international business leaders at the 44th annual Business Day conference.
Douglas Conant, president and CEO of Campbell’s, headlines an impressive list of speakers. Memorial business alumna, S. Jane Rowe, vice president of Executive Offices with Scotiabank, and Gary Wadden, president and founder of M5, will also be sharing their insight on future trends.
Business Day began in 1965 when the graduating bachelor of commerce class planned a day-long conference to inspire students and connect with the business community.
Business Day 2009 takes place at the Sheraton Newfoundland Hotel. This half-day event is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m.
