SUBJECT: PSA: Election issues 2007

The Canadian Federation of University Women, St. John’s – a well-known organization which includes members of the Memorial University community – is hosting a special forum tonight, Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, in St. John’s.
The group is hosting Public Forum Election Issues 2007 with moderator Dr. Noreen Golfman, a professor of English and the associate dean of graduate studies at Memorial. It begins at 8 p.m., and will take place in the Inco Innovation Centre’s lecture theatre, room IIC-2001.
Speakers include: Kathleen Connors, NDP; Joan Burke, PC; Lucy Jarousi, Labrador Party; and Cynthia Layden-Barron, Liberal.
There will be a question and answer period following the presentations.
Free parking is available in Lot 15.
Media agencies are invited to send representatives to the forum.
