SUBJECT: PSA: Poignant anniversary to be marked at Memorial University

To mark the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women and the tragic anniversary of 1989’s tragic Montreal Massacre, MemorialUniversity will hold a special vigil on Dec. 6, 2006.
A student candlelight procession, as well as special readings and reflections will take place during the event which is organized annually by the university’s Sexual Harassment Office.
This year’s vigil takes place on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. in the EngineeringBuilding, room EN-2006.
Free parking will be available in all lots marked 16 or 16A. A reception will follow.
