SUBJECT: PSA: Public lecture on health and safety management in the workplace

A public lecture on health and safety management in the workplace will take place Thursday Nov. 4 at Memorial University in room A-1043 in the Arts and Administration Building, on Memorial’s St. John’scampus. The talk will be given by Dr. Scott MacKinnon, assistant professor in Memorial’s School of Human Kinetics and Recreation, and is titled Did Pandora’s Box conform to safe materials handling guidelines? An Ergonomist's approach to health and safety management in the workplace.
Dr. MacKinnon is a candidate for the SafetyNet Chair in Workplace Health and Safety. Free admission and free parking in Lot15.
