SUBJECT: PSA: Dr. Ronald Rompkey to lecture on 19th century French travel literature

Dr. Ronald Rompkey, Department of English Language and Literature at Memorial University, will present a lecture entitled Features of 19th century French Travel Literature Pertaining to Newfoundland. The lecture is based upon research done in the preparation of his latest book, Terre-Neuve: anthologie des voyageurs francais 1814-1914. The lecture begins at 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 15, in room SN-4035 of the Science Building on Memorial’s St. John’scampus.
