This bursary is established in memory of Gary Noftall (September 14, 1961 – July 2, 2024) by his daughter Chelsea Noftall.

Mr. Noftall was a successful entrepreneur and small business owner. As co-owner of Dream Kitchens Ltd, he was passionate about his work in the design and renovation industry, and was a champion in supporting other businesses in his community.

Mr. Noftall’s philanthropic endeavours reflect his gratitude for the success he achieved in business. He gave selflessly to many by sponsoring sports teams, supporting families during Christmas, and donating regularly to the organizations he loved so much. He had the innate ability to recognize when someone needed help and would take care of them in every way he could. “Be kind, be generous and have fun doing it” was his motto.

Mr. Noftall was passionate about the pursuit of knowledge. He understood the value of a good education and encouraged those he loved to strive for their goals. His guidance and support were exceptional in helping his children follow and achieve their educational goals. His daughter was moved to create this bursary to help others have the same opportunities that she has been afforded while honouring her father’s passion for community spirit and entrepreneurship.

Your donation contributes to creating The Gary Noftall Memorial Bursary Fund, which will be a bursary for Memorial University Faculty of Business Administration students in financial need.
