The Academic Libraries' Leadership Institute (program) was developed in partnership with the Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL). 

This week-long program combines practical leadership training courses, critical problem-solving, and unique cultural experiences. The leadership-themed courses are practical and feature embedded activities such as case studies, practice, group discussion, and skill application. Each course offers the opportunity for CARL members to increase knowledge, develop skills, change perspectives, and formulate and implement effective leadership strategies.
