Personal Profile

Nahid joined the Department of Economics at Memorial University in July 2015.

Her main research interest is in contributing to a deeper understanding of economic aspects of environmental problems; resource management; and the political economy of natural resources; and designing mechanisms to foster cooperation among different entities. Nahid is also interested in game theory and in majority of her works uses different forms of dynamic and static games.

Nahid Obtained her PhD (2013) from HEC Montreal. Prior to joining Memorial University she worked at Concordia University as an assistant professor and did a postdoc at GERAD and HEC Montreal.
