The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) is advising of planned maintenance on Wednesday Aug 12th, from 12:01 a.m. until 2:00 am.  This maintenance, will cause brief sporadic Internet and CANARIE outages during this window. The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) advises on network maintenance impacting the 5th and 6th floors of the Core Science building on Wednesday, August 12th. Between 12 a.m. and 2 a.m. there will be maintenance impacting wired wall plates beginning with “SF5.1“ and wireless in some areas of the 5th and 6th floors (primarily East Building - "Pavilion C"). During this time there will be intermittent outages to wired and wireless, including VoIP telephony. Connectivity will return automatically after the work is completed. You may see a message in Google Workspace (shown below) about transferring your content after graduation. It says, "Graduating soon? Keep all your emails and other files after you graduate”. 

This message is generated by Google and is not controlled by the university. 

Clicking the “Graduating Soon” notice in Gmail will safely open a prompt designed to help you back up your files and migrate your school data. It will not delete your account. The tool simply provides options to transfer your emails, photos, and Google Drive files to a personal account.
