A voice for students

On Wednesday, February 8th, the newly formed IT Student Services Advisory Committee met for the first time. The committee provides an opportunity to hear directly from a group of students about their technology needs, concerns and priorities.

Consisting of 18 undergraduate and graduate students representing various faculties across the university community, the committee is sponsored by the Office of the CIO, in partnership with the Centre for Innovation in Teaching and Learning, and Memorial Libraries...

Strategic Priorities

Strategic Priorities 2016-18 is a document that outlines many of the priorities and activities the Office of the CIO will pursue over the next 3 years. It was developed as a result of discussions during a series of planning sessions held in the latter half of 2016 with staff from IT Services, Information Access and Privacy, and Information Management and Protection.

Register for the Memorial IT Conference 2017

Registration is open for the Memorial IT Conference 2017 scheduled for May 4-5.

Memorial’s Office of the Chief Information Officer will host its second information technology conference – bringing together IT staff from all campuses and units to share ideas, knowledge and experiences under the theme Connect, Collaborate and Innovate.

The deadline to register for the one-and-a-half-day conference is Friday, April 28. There is no registration fee for Memorial IT staff.

Memorial IT Conference 2017

The IT conference planning team is seeking proposals from Memorial IT staff for the Memorial IT Conference 2017 to be held on May 4-5th. Are you working on an IT project? Interested in providing an update on new software or services? Do you have an idea you want to explore? Submit a proposal to the IT conference planning team.  Proposal submissions will be accepted until 5 p.m., Friday, March 3.
