Determine if you are required to write the English Placement Test

Check your requirements
The English Placement Test determines the appropriate English course for which you should register. All students beginning a degree (NOT ESL) program at Memorial University for the first time in May (Spring Semester) 2014 (or who did not take the placement test in Winter 2014 or previously) whose first language is not English and who have not completed a degree in an all-English medium university are reminded of the time and place of the required English language placement test:

Note: This placement test is not for students who will be doing full-time English as a Second Language (ESL) courses. Full-time ESL students will write a different test. Details will be provided at ESL Orientation.
