Chaplaincy

become . . . moved

At Chaplaincy we ask that you allow yourself to be moved by your conscience, human need, and the unknown.

The Pentecostal chaplaincy is associated with Memorial University and the Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland and Labrador (PAONL). David Newman has served as chaplain since 01 August 2007.

Though the Pentecostal chaplain works closely with various groups and personnel on campus, a close mentoring relationship exists between the chaplain and Chi Alpha-a MUNSU chartered society. Chi Alpha is a student-led group which sponsors Christian events, services and humanitarian activities.

David is also the Lead Pastor of MOASIC University Chapel- a campus church that meets Sunday mornings at St. John's Chapel.

If you have any questions regarding chaplaincy, life at Memorial, Chi Alpha, MOSAIC or any other aspect of student life please contact David at memorialuniversitychaplain@gmail.com or visit www.outportcity.ca.
