Attention all science students!!! The sciencem@tters program now holds reoccurring weekly Career Development Workshops located in various boardrooms in science departments. Career Development Services/ Job Search Strategies

Come learn about the services that Career Development and Experiential Learning offers to students. Did you know that 80% of jobs are not advertised? Learn effective strategies for job search. Searching for a job can be a full-time job!

Interview Skills

Do you need to brush up your interview skills? Register for the Interview Skills Workshop to learn proper interview etiquette and how to market yourself effectively to employers.

Resume/ Cover Letter Workshop

Do you need to brush up your resume/ cover letter? Register for the Resume/ Cover Letter Workshop to learn what types of resumes employers look for and how to market yourself effectively.

Social Media, E-Portfolios and Networking

Social media can enhance your exposure and ability to make connections. It can also hinder that ability if not used correctly. Come learn about ePortfolios (when to use them and what to include). Learn how to create an eportfolio!

All Science students are welcome to book Career Planning Consultation with Kristen Roberts, Science Career Development Cooridinator. These appointments can help you develop career goals and learn more about where your Science degree can take you. Appointments are booked through the My MUNLife portal in my.mun.ca.
