National Day of Mourning

April 28th marks Canada's National Day of Mourning. This solemn occasion commemorates workers who have been killed, injured or have suffered illness due to workplace-related hazards and incidents.

Memorial University's flags will be flown at half-mast from sunrise to sunset to mark the National Day of Mourning.
