Join MUN for two undergraduate courses that combine classroom lectures with field visits.

Not only a beautiful historic city, Bordeaux is situated in a spectacular region in France, rich with religio-political history. How well do you know the region? We will visit sites in the city, in the region (potentially including Arcachon, the Lascaux prehistoric caves, the Zen Plum village and Lourdes, a Catholic pilgrimage site), as well as an extended visit to Paris.

Students may complete two undergraduate courses:

(1) "Social Institutions" (ANTH/RELS 2350, cross-listed); and

(2) "Religion and Politics in France" (RELS 3058).

Neither course has a prerequisite or presumes any previous background knowledge. All instruction is in English.

Please see this brochure for more information. Here's a proposed site visit calendar
