Join MUN for two undergraduate courses that combine classroom lectures with field visits.

Not only a beautiful historic city, Bordeaux is situated in a spectacular region in France, rich with religio-political history. How well do you know the region? We will visit sites in the city, in the region (potentially including Arcachon, the Lascaux prehistoric caves, the Zen Plum village and Lourdes, a Catholic pilgrimage site), as well as an extended visit to Paris at the end of the month.

Students may complete two undergraduate courses:

(1) "Social Institutions" (ANTH/RELS 2350, cross-listed); and

(2) "Religion and Politics in France" (RELS 3058).

Neither course has a prerequisite or presumes any previous background knowledge. All instruction is in English.

Here is a proposed site visit calendar and a brochure with cost estimates

Please contact Dr. Selby to find out more or follow us on Facebook and on Instagram.

The deadline to apply for the school has been extended to January 31, 2020. You may submit this completed application and the $50 registration fee to Ms. Annette Sullivan in the Department of Religious Studies in A5007. Please contact Dr. Selby if you intend to apply.

Hope to see you in beautiful Paris and Bordeaux for an amazing month abroad!
