Memorial is home to world-class students, faculty and staff who are committed to working in, and with, coastal and northern communities. From medicineengineering and technology, to sciencefine arts and education, our expertise spans disciplines and boundaries.

There are well over 300 faculty, staff, and students at Memorial University (including the Marine Institute, Labrador Campus, and Grenfell Campus) who are actively engaged in research, teaching and learning, and public engagement initiatives connected to the ocean and the North, with hundreds of ongoing projects related to these topics.
