Control–Alt–Delete: Control Data, Use Alternatives, and Delete Risks
Welcome & Greetings | Day 1 - Tuesday, March 16 | Day 2 - Wednesday, March 17 | Day 3 - Thursday, March 18
With the ongoing COVID-19 public health emergency and restrictions on in-person events, we are pleased to announce that APSIM, originally schedule for last year, will be proceeding as an online event with a mix of live and pre-recorded presentations and talks.
As always, this is a free conference for Access, Privacy, Security and Information Management professionals. This conference is presented in partnership with Memorial University and supported by Memorial's Conference & Event Services team, based at Signal Hill Campus. This conference is built by key stakeholders working collaboratively, pooling resources and ensuring the quality of content that you have come to expect.
Topics and Presentations include:
- Keynote addresses from University of Ottawa professor Dr. Teresa Scassa and former British Columbia Information and Privacy Commissioner David Loukidelis;
- Regulators Panel with Newfoundland and Labrador Information and Privacy Commissioner Michael Harvey, Alberta Information and Privacy Commissioner Jill Clayton and former British Columbia Information and Privacy Commissioner David Loukidelis;
- Data Governance in Health Research and Evaluation, presented by the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information and representatives from regional health authorities;
- The Magic Art of Tidying-up Shared Drives, with Christy Walters of Memorial University’s Office of the Chief Information Officer.
We invite participants to use social media to share their thoughts, experiences, and comments during and after the Conference; however, we do ask that participants review and adhere to our Social Media Guidelines.
