BioMedicine Research Symposium

Welcome to the web interface for BioMedicine 2023, a research symposium for undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University.

The BioMedicine 2022 symposium will take place on July 5, 6 and 7 in Faculty of Medicine spaces. Graduate, undergraduate and postdoctoral fellows working in the area of biomedical sciences are welcome to be a part of the oral presentation schedule. We welcome Dr. Jeff Biernaskie (University of Calgary) and Dr. Geoff Hicks (University of Manitoba) as the distinguished visiting speakers to the symposium.

Trainees interested in presenting their research are asked to submit a 250 word abstract for the program booklet and to prepare either a poster or short oral presentation to be presented at this in-person symposium. Details and deadlines coming soon.

All faculty, staff and students of the BMS Division are welcome to attend.Registration links coming soon to confirm attendance (for the purpose of catering) and to prepare the symposium schedule.

The Artwork and Illustration competition is offered once again for biomedical graduate, postdoctoral fellows, Division of BMS faculty or staff members with a deadline date of May 23. The theme for the artwork competition this year is Science Fiction. Please see the competition page for further details.
