COVID-19 Updates

Need to chat about how COVID-19 could impact your startup idea? Want advice on how to stay positive and move forward while social distancing? This is a stressful and uncertain time for many but we are here to provide continued support to you and your startup.

MCE will do our part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 by taking the proactive step of moving our services online and closing FounderSpace (EN-3075) as of Thursday, March 19. However, the MCE team (Florian, Jason and Elyse) will be available by email or Slack during regular working hours. General inquiries can be directed to mce@mun.ca.

What is Slack? It is a free online chat room that allows for group discussions and direct private messages. Message each of us directly or participate in the group conversations and shared information provided on the channel. Join the MCE community slack channel through your web browser HERE. The MCE channel name is munentrepreneurship.slack.com. Use your Memorial email to sign in and start chatting.

Book a (remote) meeting - Jason, our entrepreneur-in-residence, will continue to meet remotely with students to strategize a plan, set goals or talk through a new startup idea. You can book an online meeting with him HERE.

Keep planning for the future - We’re still accepting applications for our spring/summer Entrepreneurial Work term/Internship program. Get paid to work full-time on your startup! This program will be offered online until regular operations on campus resume. Learn more and check out the application HERE.

Keep learning and growing - The MCE will continue providing training and resources for Memorial student entrepreneurs online. To gain access to this content when it is released, email mce@mun.ca to join our BrightSpace (if you are not already added to one of our pages).
