The candidate will develop an individual research project on a topic related to urban settlements and their natural environment in any part of medieval Europe.
Located in the stunning historic city of st. John's, Newfoundland, Memorial University is home to a vibrant community of medievalists and Europeanists.
The availability of a comprehensive funding package will depend upon the outcome of a current grant application but there will be opportunities of scholarships and graduate assistants.
