In Canada, October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (DEAM). This month is dedicated to the increased public awareness of the positive impacts people with disabilities make to society through employment, and to countering harmful myths about employing people with disabilities.

Throughout October 2024, the Office of the Vice-Provost, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Anti-Racism (EDI-AR) at Memorial will host events to mark DEAM. Event details will be added and updated here and in our  calendar as they are finalized.
