The Economics Co-operative Education Option (ECEO) offers many benefits above and beyond traditional classroom learning:

Typical Schedule
Work terms are 12–16 week full-time paid employment opportunities. Students normally enter co-operative education in their second year of study and complete three work terms during the remainder of their program.

While this is the typical program schedule, students do sometimes complete a work term in the fall semester.
How to Apply?
This program option is available to the following full-time economics students:
- Bachelor of Arts in Economics (major, honours)
- Bachelor of Science in Economics (major, honours)
- Bachelor of Science in Economics and Statistics (joint major)
Entry into this program option is competitive and selective. Students must complete 30 credit hours with an overall average of at least 65% to be considered.

Applications are accepted annually during the fall semester. The deadline to apply is October 15th (or next business day).
