Implementation structure

Implementing a new budget model at a university requires careful planning, a strong implementation approach and extensive consultation.  

The project is being led by a steering committee co-chaired by Trudy Pound-Curtis, vice-president, finance and administration, and Jennifer Lokash, provost and vice-president (academic).  

Three groups with representation from across the university are focused in particular areas of the development and implementation process. The groups consult with and report to the Steering Committee, including:  

  • Budget Model Working Group 
  • Data Modeling Group 
  • Communications Advisory Group 

Actions and decisions of the Steering Committee are discussed in detail with Memorial’s Academic Leadership Council comprised of deans and other academic leadership.
