Dr. Ann Colbourne recognized by Mayo Clinic Alumni Association
Congratulations to Biochemistry alumnua Dr. Ann Colbourne who has been recognized by the Mayo Clinic Alumni Association as the recipient of the 2019 Doctors Mayo Society Lifetime Achievement Lecturer award. Dr. Colbourne was recognized for her philanthropy as an alumna of Mayo Clinic and achievements in her medical career at the 71st Biennual Meeting in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Colbourne completed bachelor of medical science and bachelor of science in biochemistry degrees at Memorial University, before going on to obtain a master of arts degree in theology and bachelor of arts degree in theology (Rhodes Scholar) from the University of Oxford. In addition she has completed advanced internal medicine and internal medicine fellowships at Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education in Rochester, Minnesota.
