Campus Renewal Fee
Memorial’s Campus Renewal Fee provides critical funding to address the most pressing deferred maintenance and information technology projects at Memorial. This student fee is currently being funded by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. The total provided for the 2025-2026 year is $7.7 million of which $6.2 million is allocated to physical infrastructure, $1.375 million to digital infrastructure and $125,000 in emergency funds.
A pan-university Campus Renewal Committee has been established and is co-chaired by the associate vice-president (facilities) and chief information officer.
The Campus Renewal Committee terms of reference are online. This committee will follow an updated process and evaluation criteria, which will ensure a consistent approach across all campuses with the intent to bring recommended projects to the Board of Regents for their review and approval.
