Amanda Butt

Amanda Butt (nee Eisener) returned to SafetyNet as Progam Coordinator in 2006 after spending nearly five years as a Research Associate in the Department of Community Health Sciences at the University of Calgary. Amanda completed her Master of Arts (Anthropology) degree at Memorial University in 2001 and played an administrative role in the initial CIHR proposal process for SafetyNet in 2000. She further developed her coordination and research skills while managing projects focused on various women’s and public health issues at the University of Calgary. She now plays a key role in managing the SafetyNet program overall and providing specific research assistance to a number of SafetyNet projects.
