Web Content Services offers workshops and training in a number of areas to help build and maintain websites that are on brand and in line with the latest trends and web best practices. We work with units to determine target audiences, key messages and user-centric navigation.
Web content management system training and support
Websites on mun.ca are currently managed using Site Builder, Memorial’s do-it-youself in-house web content management system (CMS), developed by Marketing and Communications and Information Technology Services. If you are responsible for updating content on a Memorial website, please attend a training session to learn how to use Site Builder. Training is required to access and manage a Memorial website. Please contact us to reserve your seat in the next group training session. Units interested in training and/or retraining of Site Builder as it relates to their specific websites are encouraged to schedule a group session.
Writing for the web
The web writing workshop explores what motivates people to read online, identifies challenges writers face in maintaining reader interest in a digital environment and recommends tactics to improve visibility and quality of content on websites.
