ISER Post-Doctoral Fellowship
Post-Doctoral Fellowships are available, on a competitive basis, to researchers from Memorial University or elsewhere who have completed their doctorate. During the tenure of the fellowship, researchers must be in residence at Memorial University. Fellowships "normally" start on September 1st of the year in which it is awarded, and end on August 31st of the following year. Post-Doctoral Fellowships in the amount of $35,028 per annum (paid on a bi-weekly basis (Canadian) and pro-rated over the duration of the fellowship), are awarded for up to one year.
To be considered for a post-doctoral fellowship, applicants should ideally have a doctorate degree in hand. However, those who have successfully defended their thesis by the deadline date are also eligible to apply.
If an individual has already held a Post-Doctoral award they are not eligible for another. A Post-Doctoral Fellowship is for one year only, and not renewable for a second year.
