As director, I chair the ISER/J R Smallwood Foundation Executive Committee and work with staff and faculty in the main office and at Memorial University Press as well as with members of the Awards Panels and grantees.

My association with ISER dates back to my Post-Doctoral fellowship in 2009.  Since that time, I have published with ISER Books and MU Press, served on the Executive Committee and Awards Panel, and was interim Academic Editor of MU Press for one year. My research in NL Studies, focuses on the co-constitution of place and identity through life narrative.
