Fees and Charges
Online Learning Administrative Fee
An Online Learning (OL) administrative fee applies to all online courses and will be applied to your account after enrollment. Unless specified otherwise, tuition fees are charged separately based on the credit hours for each registered course.
Fee Amounts (Per Three-credit-hour Course)
- Students living in Newfoundland and Labrador: $51
- Students living outside Newfoundland and Labrador: $102
Residency is determined based on your Online Learning or Permanent address in Memorial Self Service. Please make sure your address is up to date before the semester starts.
What This Fee Covers
The OL administrative fee supports:
- CITL's Support Centre for technical and course support.
- Exam administration and evaluation costs.
- Postage and other expenses for online course delivery.
Refund Policy
The OL administrative fee is only refunded if you drop the course within seven working days after the last day to add courses. See the University Academic Calendar for dates each semester.
Other Fees
- Deferred exam fee: $65 per approved deferred exam.
- Change of exam site fee: $50 per exam (if changed after scheduling).
