Online Learning
All online courses use Memorial's Brightspace (D2L) learning platform, where you can:
- Review course materials.
- Submit assignments.
- Write quizzes.
- Join discussions and class chats.
- Contact your instructor.
Some online courses also use video conferencing, interactive multimedia and other tools to make learning engaging and accessible.
Memorial’s online courses have set schedules—they are not self-paced.
- Instructors post deadlines for readings, assignments and exams.
- You’re expected to keep up with coursework regularly.
- Success requires organization, self-discipline and participation—just like on campus.
CITL’s Support Centre helps seven days a week with:
- Accessing and using Brightspace (D2L).
- Technical issues with hardware, software or multimedia.
- Finding online student resources.
