Our Athletes, Our Alumni

Sports have a unique way of making a positive impact on society.

Our alumni are champions and All-Canadian Athletes. We are committed to celebrating the outstanding accomplishments that our former athletes and teams have worked hard to achieve. The tradition of inter-university rivalry has grown over the years and teams from Memorial have brought home a number of championships in curling, basketball, track and field, and swimming.

Athletics has played an important role in fostering our identity and helped the first generations of students to build the collegiality that characterizes Memorial University.
