Important information for voting
To access the voting page, you will need to enter your:
- First Name;
- Last Name;
- Email Address; and
- One identifier: either your Alumni or Student Number -- your alumni and student numbers are not the same.
IMPORTANT: Ensure you enter the number in the correct corresponding field.
If you do not know your student or alumni number, contact the Office of Development and Alumni Engagement at munalum@mun.ca or call (709) 864-4354 (local), or 1-877-700-4081 (toll-free). Phone and email support is available Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Newfoundland Standard Time.
Please note that an email regarding the voting portion of the election was sent to all alumni for whom we have an active email address. This message included your alumni number.
All alumni of Memorial University are eligible to vote in this election. Alumni are defined as any individual who has received a degree, diploma, post-graduate certificate, or certificate requiring undergraduate or academic admission from Memorial University, including Memorial College, the Marine Institute, Grenfell Campus, Labrador Campus and all predecessors. In all cases, the program of study must have been approved by the Senate of Memorial University or the Academic Council of the Marine Institute (or its predecessors).
Alumni may vote for up to six (6) candidates with one (1) vote per candidate. Each alumnus can vote once. Voting closes at 4 p.m. Newfoundland Standard Time on June 11, 2026.
