Employee Assistance Program – Memorial provides a comprehensive program of confidential assistance and support for employees, retirees and their family members who are experiencing problems of a personal or family nature.
Group Insurance Benefits Plan – Memorial provides an extensive program of group insurance benefits for employees, retirees and their dependents, including hospital and extended health benefits, dental, life and AD&D insurance, and long term disability insurance.
Work-Flex Program - The Department of Human Resources has developed the Work-Flex Program, an alternative employment options program designed to provide employees with the opportunity to modify their current work arrangements. Options include leave without pay; reduced work hours; or short term lateral position exchange.
Preferred Rate Program- This program is designed to encourage employees and retirees to make better use of campus recreation facilities. Under this program, Memorial will pay up to 50% of the cost of a membership at The Works for employees in St. John's (up to a maximum of $10 a pay period). In Corner Brook, Memorial has partnered with three local fitness centres to offer a similar service to employees at Grenfell Campus.
Wellness and Recreation, Grenfell Campus – A comprehensive program of services created for students is also made available to faculty and staff.
Sexual Harassment – Memorial has a comprehensive policy governing matters related to sexual harassment affecting students, faculty or staff.
