Lead by Example - peer mentorship program
Are you a student with a disability? Would you like to be matched with a mentor to help guide you through the world of MUN? Or perhaps you would like to mentor another student with a disability and gain some volunteer experience for your resume?
Either way, Lead by Example is for you!
Lead by Example is a new program hosted by the Blundon Centre. Our program will match students with disabilities through a mentor program to make the transition into, and through, university life a little easier. This program will launch in September 2019.
Our mentors will know how to navigate MUN with ease and how to answer common student questions. This is not a tutoring or counselling program, but a great way to network with your fellow students, gain some volunteer experience, and build a toolkit of university survival skills.
Complete the short application here. Please choose whether you would like to be considered for a mentor position OR a mentee position. You do not have to fill out both applications.
The Lead by Example Coordinator will be in touch to match you with either a mentor or mentee, depending on what you apply for.
