Vision

The Faculty of Nursing will be an exemplary model in promoting health for all peoples of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Mission

We are committed to being leaders in promoting health and well-being, equity, diversity, inclusion, anti-racism and Indigenization through innovative education, transformative research, and proactive and responsive service. Our graduates will excel in nursing practice and exemplify these attributes. 

Values

Excellence. We seek to achieve the highest possible quality in our educational programs and in our teaching, research, service and public engagement through rigour, innovation and creativity. 

Advocacy and Responsiveness. We advocate for and respond to the needs of our students, and the health of the people of Newfoundland and Labrador and society.

Collaboration. We take a proactive role in developing effective and dynamic relationships with clients, other disciplines and the community through the mutual exchange and sharing of collective expertise and knowledge in the pursuit of common goals and benefits.

Partnerships. We work with key stakeholders to improve programs and to enhance evidence-based nursing practice.

Collegiality. We strive for respectful, open and trusting learning and working environments in our collegial relationships with others.
