The Janeway Hospital and the Memorial’s Discipline of Pediatrics have a long history of contributing to children’s health research, both within our province and beyond. The JPRU continues and builds on that proud tradition. 

The faculty and clinicians within the JPRU conduct both clinical and applied health research in areas such as adolescent mental health, diabetes, rheumatology, hematology, childhood obesity, asthma, oncology, emergency medicine, gastroenterology, neonatology, genetics, autism, neurology, infant nutrition and breastfeeding, arthritis, and eating disorders.
