Collective bargaining update – MUNFA October meetings
Negotiating teams for Memorial University and MUNFA met again as scheduled on Oct. 20-21.
“We had a constructive two days, with the parties engaging in meaningful discussions on issues,” said Scott Kelly, director, Faculty Relations on behalf of Memorial’s bargaining team.
“We look forward to continuing with these discussions with MUNFA and remain committed to working towards a fair and sustainable collective agreement through meaningful dialogue at the bargaining table.”
Two more days of meetings have been scheduled for December 2026.
Memorial’s proposals are guided by its commitment to a strong and sustainable university that puts students first and builds on areas of strength and impact. They also reflect Memorial’s special obligation to the people of Newfoundland and Labrador.
