Folklife Festival 2012: Make and Break Engines

For the past four years the Heritage Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador has supported a local folklife festival in the province. This year the festival moves to scenic Bonavista, Newfoundland and is focussed on antique Make and Break engines. The goal of the festival is to promote the history of motorized boats in Newfoundland and Labrador and showcase the restoration and conservation of these iconic engines.
