What makes for a successful career in the senior ranks of government and academia? What is the appropriate mix of skills, attitudes, aptitudes and values that may lead to a senior position? Come hear the perspectives of three respected persons who have reached executive levels in their organizations:
- Andrew Treusch, Commissioner of the Canada Revenue Agency and Deputy Minister Champion for Memorial University
- Judith Hearn, Deputy Minister, Office of Public Engagement, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador
- Dr. Richard Marceau, Vice-President (Research) at Memorial University of Newfoundland
The session will be moderated by Susan Drodge, Director General for Policy, Advocacy and Coordination with the Newfoundland and Labrador office of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency.
