No - the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador is covering the cost of COVID-19 related medical services for non-insured individuals who are currently residing in Newfoundland.

The coverage includes screening, treatment and hospitalization (if necessary) related to COVID-19.
If I want to get tested for COVID-19 will the test be covered?
Yes. Everyone currently residing in the province can access COVID-19 testing free of charge.
