A series of new online syllabi resources have been created for instructors.
Specifically, new COVID-19 related information has been developed, including suggested statements on health and safety, remaining home when unwell, and student planning should the university have to transition back to remote teaching and learning. It is important to note these suggested statements will continue to be updated to reflect changes to policies and practices as they occur.
All instructors are encouraged to update their syllabi to include information that reflects our current environment as a result of the pandemic, and our return to in-person instruction. Providing updated information in all course syllabi will help students succeed in the transition to on-campus learning.
The new COVID-19 related syllabi resources are available online, and can also be downloaded and edited so that you can customize the statements to your needs. All syllabi resources are accessible through CITL’s Instructional Resources site.
If you have questions about updating your syllabi or would like support, you can reach out to CITL through your department’s Academic Support Representative or through the CITL Support Centre.
If you have feedback on the syllabi resources, including suggestions for syllabi statements, please send comments to: contact CITL@mun.ca
