Instructor Series: Enhancing Team Skills Through Simulation-Based Assessment

Presenter: Dr. Kara Arnold, Professor, Faculty of Business Administration, St. John's Campus

Effective teamwork is essential for success in any collaborative environment, but how do we teach students to navigate differences and contribute productively? Join Dr. Kara Arnold as she shares how she integrated an innovative team simulation into her teaching. The simulation challenges learners to build, participate in and lead effective teams. Assignments are designed to elicit critical reflection on both group performance and individual contributions.

In this session, Dr. Arnold will reveal key insights and lessons learned while implementing the simulation and related assessment that participants can consider when fostering essential teamwork skills in their courses.

This is an online session and it will be recorded.
