Creating Secure Assessments with Advanced Quiz Settings for Instructors

Presenting each student in your course with a slightly different version of the same quiz deters academic dishonesty, increasing the integrity of the assessment.

The Quizzes tool in Brightspace allows instructors to configure quizzes in a way that will present each student with a different version of the same quiz. In this session, various methods of randomizing a Brightspace quiz will be illustrated such as shuffling questions and answer choices, creating a question pool and populating a quiz (or a section within it) with a random selection of questions from the pool and more. The function of the ‘Question Library’ will also be discussed.

This session will be hosted in Webex. It is recommended that you attend this session using Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Firefox.

Registration is required for this event.
