Instrumental Conducting III

is the study of advanced applications of baton technique, gesture, other forms of nonverbal communication, and verbal communication as they relate to the interpretation of instrumental scores and the conducting of instrumental ensembles. Score preparation and rehearsal planning are included in this study. Students are assigned off-campus conducting experiences with instrumental ensembles. Admission by audition only.
Prerequisite: Music 3312.
