School of Nursing students have raised about $10,326.73 for a local charity. Through year long fundraisers, a silent auction and raffle ticket sales at the recent Charity Ball, students will be presenting the Eating Disorder Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador with the donation.
The students surpassed their goal of $10,000. It is also the largest amount raised in the Charity Ball's 14 year history. More than 200 students, faculty, and guests attended the event which took place on March 24 at the Holiday Inn in St. John’s.
