This process varies with the type of distribution list you wish to subscribe to. A restricted list such as a department list doesn't give access to non-departmental users. For questions regarding this contact the list-owner and operator of the department.
For other "open" lists such as the MUNSU mailing list, the user should contact the list owners and operator and make a request. If the user doesn't know the owner then they can contact the Service Desk for more information.
Many of optional mailing lists will have instructions, a link, or contact information just below the signature of the user sending the distribution list e-mail. Users wishing to unsubscribe should look for this information on the received emails. If they are unable to find this information or would like assistance in cancelling their subscription they may contact the Service Desk.
