University owned computer equipment
The ever-present threat of Malware from both the internet and email have made anti-virus software a must. Protecting data and computer equipment from malicious software attacks is something that Memorial University takes very seriously. Memorial's Electronic Data Security Policy mandates that all university owned computers run our approved anti-virus software. As of August 2011 Memorial has introduced a centrally funded approach to anti-virus software renewals. This means no charge licenses for all faculty and staff. If you do not have anti-virus software installed or if you suspect your existing installation may be out of date, please contact the C&C Service Desk at 864-4595 or email@example.com.
