The International Student Advising office is pleased to provide programs and services to international students. New international students receive the International Student Handbook which highlights essential information for adjusting to our culture and also explains the services we provide such as emergency health insurance, immigration advice, housing tips and much more.
We also maintain an email list to keep international students informed of social events (e.g. Wednesday discussion group, outings for students and families and Friday afternoon coffee breaks), as well as updates to immigration policy and other important information. Students wishing to join the list, should send an email to isa@mun.ca and we will sign you up. Students may also join us on Facebook - Mun Isa - and connect to peer support. Please feel free to drop by our office anytime.
