On-campus housing provides accommodations for full-time students, including first-year students, at Memorial University's St. John's campus.

Paton College consists of 10 buildings, each housing approximately 100 residents in single and double rooms. There are shared washroom facilities and buildings also have kitchens, laundry rooms, lounge areas and study areas.

Burton's Pond apartments have four buildings consisting of multiple four-bedroom apartments. The four residents share the living room, kitchen and bathroom. A separate building houses a lounge, study area, laundry and mail service facilities.

All residences are just minutes away from most campus facilities including classrooms, the library and the recreation centre. When the weather is unpleasant, Paton College residents can enjoy immediate access to the underground tunnel system, while residents of Burton's Pond can access the tunnels in minutes.

In Paton College, residence fees include an All You Care to Eat meal plan. The Burton's Pond apartments each have a fully-equipped kitchen so that residents can prepare their own meals. Residents of Burton's Pond also have the option of purchasing a meal plan that can be used at the main dining hall.

Wireless high-speed Internet service is accessible throughout the campus including all Paton College buildings and Burton's Pond apartments. Recent renovations have added hard-wired Internet and cable TV services to some Paton College buildings.

The Residence Life office provides numerous programs and supports, including free tutoring, a host of academically related information sessions and plenty of leadership opportunities for residents. Opportunities to participate in recreational and social activities to ensure a healthy balance to each day and night are also abundantly available to residents of on-campus housing.

Experience on-campus living and you will find that it is more than just a place to stay – it's a home away from home and the friendships you make here will last a lifetime.

Application forms for on-campus housing are available online. If you would like to have an application sent to you please contact the office.
